Wages in the medical billing industry are relatively high. The average yearly salary for a U.S medical biller is around $32,000.

Remember, this number is just average. It actually depends a lot on your business location as some states have more competition than others. Other factors of a medical biller salary are if you are working for a private practice or a hospital. It also depends on your education of course.

The position of a medical biller requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in the medical billing industry or in a related area.
